Uniform

At Ashton St Peter’s we take pride in our uniform and encourage all our children to feel proud to be seen in it.

We supply all branded school uniform and hold a stock of sweat shirts, jumpers, cardigans, P.E. shirts and shorts which are all obtainable from the school office including Ashton St Peter’s Book Bags and P.E kit bags. Most sizes are held in stock or if not we can order them for you.

All items listed are required, unless otherwise stated. 

Uniform

• White polo shirt (Reception to Year 4)
• Maroon cardigan or jumper with school badge (Reception to Year 4)
• White shirt or blouse (Year 5 and 6)
• V-neck maroon jumper with school badge (Year 5 and 6)
• School tie (Year 5 and 6)
• Grey trousers/skirt/dress
• White socks or grey tights to be worn under a skirt – no leggings or colourful tights
• In the summer, blue and white summer dresses or grey shorts can be worn
• Smart black shoes – no boots or trainers
• Fleeces (optional) are not instead of a jumper or cardigan and are to be worn outside. They should not be worn in the classroom.

PE Kits

• Maroon shorts
• White T-shirt with school badge
• Black plimsolls (where children do not have these, they will have to have bare feet in the hall)
• Plain, dark-coloured sweatshirt and tracksuit trousers (for outdoor PE)
• Trainers (for outdoor PE only – not instead of plimsolls)

Please can we remind parents that long hair must be tied back, any nail varnish should be removed before coming to school and children with pierced ears should only wear a pair of plain studs (no hoops or sleepers for health and safety reasons).

Please also ensure that all items of clothing are clearly named.
