
Monday to Friday
For parents who need to start their day a little earlier we offer our ‘Early Birds Club’ from 7.30 am. Children can choose to play with a range of games, share books or chat with their friends in a calm, relaxed, safe environment. The children are supervised by a Teaching Assistant and overseen by a member of the Senior Leadership Team. There is a minimal charge of £3.50 per session for each child.
Monday to Friday
For parents who have commitments in the afternoon we offer our ‘Evening Owls’ from 3.30 pm to 5:30 pm. Children can choose to play with a range of games, share books or chat with their friends in a calm, relaxed, safe environment or even do homework. The children are supervised by a Teaching Assistant and overseen by a member of the Senior Leadership Team. There is a minimal charge of £5.50 per session for each child.
Basketball Club
Every Thursday morning from 8 am, ‘Hot Shots Basketball Club’ run a training session for children in Years 2, 3, 4 and 5. It is a great way to start the day. Children have the opportunity to develop ball skills and work together as part of a team.
Monday – Martial Arts – 5.00 pm – 6.00 pm
Tuesday – Gymnastics – 8.00 am – 8.45 am
Wednesday – Martial Arts – 5.00 pm – 6.00 pm
Thursday – Basketball – 8.00 am – 8.45 am
Friday – Netball – 8.00 am – 8.45 am; Street Dance – 3.30 pm – 4.30 pm
Choir
Children have the opportunity to be a member of the choir. Choir practice takes place on a Tuesday and is led by Mrs. Leadbeater and Mrs. Dineen. Together they sing beautifully and have performed at the Grove Theatre, for members of the community and as part of our annual ‘Learning Partnership’ music festival.
Recorders
Children in Year 3, 4 and 5 who wish to play the recorder are invited to join Mrs. Dineen on a Thursday lunchtime. Recorders can be purchased from the school office. Together they play in ‘Friends Assembly’ and at other special occasions
Ballet
Children across the school are able to participate in ballet sessions with an external provider. For further information, please speak to the office.
